About Us

A family-run powersports shop in Broussard, built for real work.

Old School Moto is a family-run powersports service shop in Broussard, Louisiana, serving Lafayette and Acadiana. We work on ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, go-karts, quads, and motorcycles, including both carbureted and EFI machines. Our focus is practical service, honest diagnostics, maintenance, repair, and helping owners keep real machines running.
Built to Fix. Ready to Ride.

Old School Moto started with a respect for analog machines, real mechanical work, and no-shortcut service. Today, that same standard applies to ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, go-karts, quads, motorcycles, carbureted machines, and EFI machines alike.

Why Old School

“Old School” is not just about older motorcycles.
It is about how the work gets done.
It means looking the machine over, listening to what it is telling you, explaining the problem clearly, and doing the job the right way. It means honest diagnostics, practical repairs, fair communication, and no shortcut work just to get something out the door.

Whether it is a motorcycle, ATV, quad, dirt bike, or UTV, the standard is the same:

Tell the truth. Do the work right. Stand behind the job.

Who We Are

Old School Moto is run by Mac and his family. This shop was built as a long-term family business, not a quick flip or a side hustle. Our goal is to build something useful for local riders, families, hunters, trail users, and owners of older powersports machines in Acadiana.
Mac is a lifelong hands-on tradesman and rider working through formal motorcycle repair training while building the shop around real-world service needs. The business is also a place where his children can grow up around work, responsibility, tools, machines, customers, and the kind of practical knowledge that used to be passed down in shops, garages, barns, and backyards.
This is a family business built for the long haul.

The Deeper Work

Old School Moto is also about preserving mechanical knowledge.
South Louisiana is full of people who know how to fix things by hand. Some of that knowledge never made it into a manual, a video, or a classroom. It was learned through years of work, repetition, mistakes, and mentorship.
We want to help keep that kind of knowledge alive.
That is why we are building youth workshops, hands-on learning opportunities, and a shop culture where younger people can see real work being done. The service work keeps the doors open. Passing the knowledge forward is part of why the doors are worth keeping open.

What We Believe

We believe customers deserve the truth.

We believe in real mechanical work and straight answers. Carbureted or EFI, motorcycle or four-wheeler, every machine deserves the same standard: inspect it carefully, explain the issue clearly, quote the work honestly, and do the job right.

We would rather do the right work for the right customer than pretend to do everything for everybody.
Honest service. Practical repairs. Real mechanical work.
